How does sponsorship work?

Amsha Africa Foundation selects orphans that are in dire need of help. Most of the orphans featured on Amsha Africa Foundation's website for sponsorship are bright students that have been recommended by schools. These orphans have the will to make a difference in their communities and the brains to follow through but they do not have the financial resources to even buy the bare necessities to get through school. The goal of Amsha Africa Foundation's "Sponsor an Orphan" Program is to equip your orphan and his or her community to become perpetually self-sustaining. That means your sponsorship will last for many years. When your orphan and his or her community, have reached a sustainable level, Amsha Africa Foundation will move on to serve another community in need. When this happens, you’ll be offered the opportunity to sponsor a different orphan in a new community.

When you become an orphan sponsor, you join a family of several million around the world who share your commitment to change the world, one child at a time.

We currently have a number of orphans that we can have you sponsor. Please  contact us for more information. We can even match you up with an orphan that is not yet featured on our website, based on your preferences (Age/Sex/Location, etc).
