Amsha Africa Foundation Programs

  • Water & Sanitation Program - We help construct water and sanitation projects in schools, churches, hospitals, and public areas that are in dire need of water in Kenya and other parts of Africa.
  • Microfinancing Program - We provide carefully chosen entrepreneurs and groups in the poorest parts of Kenya with small loans. The loans help these hardworking but impoverished individuals build sustainable retail, manufacturing, farming, or other businesses.
  • Sponsor an Orphan Program -Sponsor an Orphan Program provides donors, volunteers, and philanthropists an opportunity to help eradicate poverty, injustice and inequities among orphans. When someone sponsors an orphan through Amsha Africa Foundation, 100% of what is received is sent to the sponsored orphan and we provide the sponsor with a photo and updates on how their donations are being utilized/invested to help your sponsored orphan.
  • "Dear Friend" Pen Pal Program - The goal of the Dear Friend pen pal program is to sustain long-term, 1:1 relationships between as many pair of U.S. and Kenyan children as possible, and to help all participating children achieve literacy goals, heighten their cultural awareness, and feel the joy of knowing another child across the world cares about them. This project will preserve the art of letter writing for our generation's children, teaching them to communicate well through the written word.
  • Health Focused Program - We organize medical missions to Kenya and partner up with phamaceutical companies, medical schools, doctors, and medical students to provide vital shipments of medical aid and expertise to areas in Africa that desperately need medical aid and services. We work with local doctors in rural hospitals in Kenya which serve impoverished communities. These local doctors provide us their medical needs and we work with our partner doctors and medical students in the U.S. to get the required medical supplies and ship them to Kenya.
  • International Volunteer Program -We offer international volunteers a chance to participate in projects being organized by the foundation in various parts of Kenya. We need sponsors to help us fund some of the projects we are working on in Africa such as construction and rehabilitation of water and sanitation projects, orphanages, schools, donating computers, school supplies, etc.
